There are at least 11 cases of flu at University Hospital Limerick.
The hospital is reminding members of the public that visitor restrictions remain in force, in a bid to manage and contain the outbreak of the virus.
One visitor per patient only is permitted during visitor hours, and this limit is being strictly adhered to, while families are asked to keep children away from the hospital.
