The targeting of 11 and 12 year-old’s by drug dealers in Shannon has been described as “terrifying”.
Sinn Féin Councillor Mike Mc Kee is calling for a public meeting, after being informed that young children are being offered drugs in the town.
He believes a “new breed” of drug dealer in the town or coming in from elsewhere are targeting the youngsters, by offering drugs for free and then demanding money with menace.
