More than 11,000 people remain in receipt of the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in Clare this week.
Department of Social Protection figures show 11,165 people in this county received the payment into their bank accounts this morning, broadly similar to last week’s figure.
Nationally, more than 464,000 people are still receiving the government support.

A further 257 people in this county have closed their PUP claims in the past seven days according to the department – along with a further 9,000 people nationwide, despite the same level of restrictions remaining in place.
