14 Clare schools have been awarded for their environmental efforts with the awarding of Green flags by An Taisce
Clonmoney N.S. was awarded its first green flag for its work on litter and waste. A further 13 schools received green flags for their work on energy, water and travel
They are Holy Family Junior and Senior Schools, and Coláiste Muire in Ennis; Mary Immaculate Secondary School in Lisdoonvarna; Scoil na Mainistreach in Quin, Scoil Realt na Mara in Kilkee, St. Caimin’s Community School in Shannon as well as national schools in Tubber, Clohanes, Querrin, Drumdigus, Dangan and Lissycasey
