There’s been a further fall in the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital today.
The latest INMO figures show 16 patients were left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning.
It’s the highest number of any hospital in the country and is 7 more than the next busiest facility.

Overall 50 people were left waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
