Over seventeen million euro is to be spent to upgrade the sewerage works of two West Clare towns.
10.5 million euro is to be spent in the Kilkee area, with 6.7 million to be used to upgrade works in Kilrush.

Two new Waster water Treatment Plants are to be built, while the existing Network Collection System in each area will also be improved.
