New figures show that over 17 thousand people across Clare have now signed up to pay the Household Charge.
Figures released under Dáil questions to the Environment Minister Phil Hogan in recent days shows the numbers who have registered for the 100 euro tax in the county now stand at 17, 225.

This represents around 40 percent of all Clare households, but doesn’t take into account those that could be exempt from the charge.
