The US Coastguard has suspended its search for the missing Irish crew members of a yacht which hit rocks in San Francisco Bay at the weekend.
Two Corkmen were among a crew of eight on board the 38 foot vessel which was taking part in a race when it was hit by powerful waves – three people were rescued, while the body of another was recovered.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance.

Spokesperson for the San Francisco Coastguard, Lieutenant Chris Handzlick says they took the decision to suspend the search about three hours ago.
