Nearly a quarter of a billion euro would be required to bring Clare’s Secondary roads up to full safety standards.
A study conducted by the NRA has identified up to 60 routes nationwide including sections of the Ennis and Kilrush and Ennistymon and Ballyvaughan roads, that pose a serious risk to drivers.
