Three teenage girls have appeared in court in the US charged in connection with the death of North Clare Teenager Phoebe Prince.
Ashley Longe, Sharon Velaquez and Flannery Mullins are among six students accused of bullying the the 15 year old so renlentlessly that she took her own life .
Phoebe family had only moved to the states from Fanore a number of months earlier
The three accused, all from South Hadley in Massachusetts were brought before the juvenile courts in the US yesterday.
Ms Longe, Ms Velazquez and Ms Mullins are charged with violation of civil rights resulting in bodily injury while Ms Mullins and Ms Velaz-quez are also charged with stalking.
All three have pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors in the case plan to call up to fifty witnesses during the trials which are not expected to ahead until January of next year.
Two young men who had relationships with Phoebe Prince are also due to go on trial on charges of statutory rape while another teenage girl appeared in court last week charged with violation of civil rights.
An aunt of Phoebe Prince attended the court proceedings yesterday but but declined to comment afterwards.
