30 jobs have been restored in Shannon as air travel improves following weeks of volcanic ash disruption.
EFG Inflight Catering served temporary notice on half its workforce when their largest customer, Omni Air, relocated to Oslo because of disruptions caused by the Icelandic volcano.
The Airline which carries US Military flights through Shannon returned to it’s base last night, resulting in a return to work for 20 EFG staff with remaining workers starting back on Monday.
