The Education Minister Ruairi Quinn says up to 3,000 new jobs will be created this summer in the school summer repair scheme.

An extra 30 million euro has been allocated to the project – which runs for eight weeks during the summer months.
Minister Quinn says over 380 schools will have repairs carried out.
