3,265 people in Clare are still receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment as of this week.
It’s a fall of 120 people in seven days and is once again at its lowest level in this county since the pandemic began.
The number of people receiving the State support here is the second lowest in Munster, with only Waterford reporting lower PUP numbers to the Department of Social Protection.

Nationally, just over 143,000 people remain on the payment this week – a fall of nearly 6,000 in the last seven days.
