The number of COVID patients in University Hospital Limerick has remained consistently high, with the figure now standing at 37.
This is the highest number of any hospital in the country.

It comes as the hospital continues to deal with high overcrowding numbers today.
There are 62 patients waiting for a bed in Dooradoyle as of this morning according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation – nearly three times higher than the next busiest facility.
