The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is on the rise again.
The latest figures from the INMO show 41 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 23 of those in the emergency department.
The overall figure is the highest in the country and is 3 more than the next busiest facility.
