Almost a million euro was paid out following public liability claims in Clare in 2013.
According to the latest report from the Injuries Board 44 incidents were lodged here last year.

The body says slips trips and falls accounted for the majority of claims – which it is putting down to poor footwear.
Nationally figures for last year show over 1,700 claims were made, costing a total of 44 million euro.
July is the month when most accidents happen and women account for over 70 percent of awards made.
