The county will be alive with music today – and it’s all in the aid of local charities.
Clare FM presenters, including Brian Flynn and Father Cletus will be wowing shoppers with their vocal skills at a busking session in Tesco’s Shopping Centre in Ennis between 12 and 2 pm – with PJ Murrihy to make a guest appearance.
Then at 8 o’clock up to 700 people will gather at Shannon Airport for a special evening of Christmas Music performed by a range of local artists including the Tulla Céilí Band; songwriter Cormac MacConnell, and the renowned O’Brien Vaughan School of Music.
All proceeds from both events will go towards Clare FM 50 Cent Appeal with the monies to be divided between Clarecare, Cahercalla Hospice, Clare St. Vincent de Paul and Clare Haven.
