More than 500 people have signed off the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in Clare in the past week.
6,408 employees currently out of work across the Banner have received the support in their bank accounts, which is the lowest number so far this year.
It’s less than half the peak of 14,869 people that were previously availing of the payment in this county in May of 2020.

Nationally, 267,000 people received the PUP this week – a fall of around 18,000 from seven days ago.
