Nurses say the region’s main hospital remains the busiest in the country as the week begins.
The latest figures from the INMO show 60 patients were waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 44 of those in the emergency Department.
The overall figures is 26 more than the next busiest facility and comes on a day when 293 people were waiting for admission at hospitals across the country.
