The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has risen slightly today, and is more than twice that of the next busiest facility.
The latest INMO figures show that 60 people were left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 47 of those in the emergency department.
The overall figure is 35 more than the next busiest facility.
