The number of people being treated for Covid-19 at the region’s main hospital has fallen by 70% since the start of the week.
The latest HSE figures show 11 people were being treated at University Hospital Limerick last night, which is a drop of 26 on Sunday’s figures.
There are five patients in the intensive care unit.

It comes as trolley numbers in Dooradoyle have also continued to decline, with 17 patients waiting for beds there this morning, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
