The Sinn Fein President has rowed back on comments he previously made about next week’s visit here by the Queen of England.
In February during his election campaign Gerry Adams had described the visit as both inadvisable and premature.
However writing in today’s Irish Examiner the Louth TD says it’s an opportunity for Ireland and Britain to build a new relationship based on equality and mutual respect.
