Seamount College in Kinvara is to gain five additional temporary classrooms.
Galway TD Seán Canney has announced that three of the new prefabs will be in place this September, while the remaining two will come on stream in September 2019.
The new facilities are being put in place to address a shortage of school accommodation.

The Department of Education is also examining long-term options for the school’s development.
