Advice for Hurling Fans Hitting for Croker

Gardai are urging Clare fans traveling to tomorrow’s All-Ireland semi-final at Croke Park to ensure they leave extra time for their journeys.

With at least 60,000 fans expected at Croke Park, and the vast majority of those traveling from the Midwest, traffic congestion is expected around Dublin, on the approach roads into the capital and on the M7 motorway.

A Garda cordon will be set up 1km from the stadium, so fans are being asked to use public transport, including park and ride facilities for the LUAS or at Maynooth Train station.
