The outcome of the ballot for industrial action by Aer Lingus cabin crew at Shannon, Cork and Dublin airports is expected to be known next week.
Members of the IMPACT trade union are giving their views on potential industrial action in a row over a 97 million cost-saving plan, and how it will be implemented.
Voting is expected to be completed next Monday afternoon, though may be extended for a further two days to allow ballot papers reach emplloyees who have changed address.
A result is expected to be known within hours of the close of voting
1,200 IMPACT members are taking part in the ballot, including over a hundred in the Mid West – their union is objecting to the changes in the number of flying hours their members are required to work
