Shannon Airport has received a double-blow with confirmation from Aer Lingus that it will not resume it’s flights to Paris and London Gatwick next year
In a statement to Clare FM, a spokesperson for the airline has confirmed that neither route will return in 2012 – they had run this year, but were suspended for the winter season.
The loss of the Paris route in particular is regarded as a blow, as it further diminishes direct contact with the continent.
