Aer Lingus says it hopes travel disruption for passengers in the run up to Christmas can be avoided.
Yesterday, cabin crew voted in favour of industrial action which could include strike action.

Staff were balloted over roster dispute as well the closure of the cabin crew base at Shannon Airport, which currently employs 87 workers.
However, reports this morning speculate that strike action could be triggered quickly if the former flag carrier does not address workers’ concerns, while Niall Shanahan of the IMPACT Trade Union which represents the cabin crew has told Clare FM they are ready to take to the picket line if necessary
