Aer Lingus Shannon Maintenance staff seek ballot for industrial action

Unions representing Aer Lingus maintenance workers at Shannon want their ongoing dispute with the company to be referred to the Labour Relations Commission, in order to avert a potential strike.

55 Clare based workers are facing redundancy or a forced transfer to Dublin Airport under company plans to close it’s Shannon hangar.
