The Agriculture Minister has been called upon to follow through with his promise to explore the option of opening a part-time Department of Agriculture office in Ennis.
In an interview on Clare FM this week, Simon Coveney said he had an open mind about establishing an outreach office in Ennis on Mart Days, saving farmers here the need to travel to Raheen.
The Department’s full-time office in Clare’s County Town closed it’s doors to the public in April 2010.
