Female farmers in Clare are being urged to put themselves for prestigious national award.
Corrib Oil’s 2019 Women in Farming Awards aims to highlight the importance of women in farming; showing that there are thousands of farms that have women as their main driving force.
It’s now in its fifth year and the closing date for applications for this year’s €1,000 prize is July 5th, just three weeks away.

Galway woman Mona O’Donoghue Concannon was crowned the winner of the Women in Farming Awards last year and says it’s a hugely beneficial competition to enter.
