The auctioneers behind the sale of the AIB premises in Kilrush insist the branch will remain in place after the new owners take control.
The building on Frances Street will be sold at an Allsop Space auction next month on behalf of a private seller.

Allsop says the property is not distressed in any way, and AIB will remain in situ as a long-term lease to 2029 will continue after the sale.
AIB has not commented on the situation, except to say that it is business as usual in Kilrush.
Allsop Space also stands by their pledge not to handle the sale of any properties subject to any legal dispute or an repossessed family homes.
