AIB is to outsource 170 I.T. positions to three other companies.

The 170 workers have been told they can change their employer, but no redundancy package is being offered by AIB.
The bulk of the jobs, 135, are being outsourced to Wipro an Indian firm with a call centre in Shannon.
Separately today, Guidewire – a software provider to the global insurance industry – says it'll hire between 60 and 80 new staff this year and next.
Already employing 150 people in Dublin, it is leasing additional office space in Blanchardstown.
