Aisling Brady McCarthy said she's glad to be home as she arrived back into Shannon Airport this morning.
The 37 year old Cavan woman was released from custody in Boston earlier this week, after murder charges against her were dropped over a child in her care in 2013.

She was later detained by Immigration officials for outstaying a holiday visa in 2002.
She landed back in Shannon at 615 this morning on an Aer Lingus flight from Boston, and was surrounded by police as she came through arrivals.
She told reporters she's glad to be home, and then started crying as she left the airport.
