Over 730,000 euro has been paid out to Clare beef farmers.
Under the Beef Data Programme payments have been made to just over two thousand suckler cow farmers in the county in recent weeks.

Further allocations will be made in the coming weeks by the Department of Agriculture while an additional 23 million has been provided for the Beef Genomics Scheme this year.
