A young North Clare man has succeeded in turning his Leaving Cert study notes into notes of a different kind.
‘A’ grade student Cillian Fahy from New Quay put his notes up for auction on Ebay, and when the deadline passed at midnight last night, he found he was 2 thousand 8 hundred euro better off.
Maths and French earned him over a thousand euro each, English over 300, and the rest made around two hundred euro.
