A funding boost of almost fifty thousand euro has been announced for what’s been described as a vital piece of Clare’s water infrastructure.
48,500 euro is to be invested in the Castle Lake Treatment Plant in Kilmurry, allowing for a general upgrade.

Mains from the lake bring water to businesses and residents in the Shannon-Sixmilebridge area, and Shannon Fine Gael Senator Tony Mulcahy says it’s important facilities like this receive investment.
