Locals in West Clare will be hoping to do a little star gazing today when Andrea Corr finally ties the knot.
The Irish singer and actress will marry her stockbroker fiancé Brett Desmond, son of billionaire Dermot Desmond in a ceremony in Miltown Malbay later, followed by what’s expected to be a very lavish reception in Doonbeg Golf Club.

While the whole event has been shrouded in mystery with staff in the club sworn to secrecy the location of the church seemed to be revealed yesterday when the bride and groom to be held a forty minute rehearsal at Saint Joseph’s in Miltown Malbay.
Rumours are also rife about the guest list with speculation that U2 will play at the event at Doonbeg Golf Club where security is high.
