Clare families who avail of respite services at the Brothers of Charity Centre in Limerick have expressed their anger over its closure.
The centre in Bawnmore has been forced to shut its doors today due to lack of funding because of budget cutback affecting 63 families from Clare and Limerick who staged a protest on Friday to highlight the issue.
Doolin native Maire Fitzpatrick’s brother uses the service at Bawnmore, and their parents are in their eighties.
