Anti referendum campaign feel treaty will bring 10 billion euro worth of new taxes

A prominent NO vote campaigner says 10-billion Euro worth of new taxes would fund the running of the country, if the EU cuts off finance after the referendum.

Richard Boyd Barrett made the remarks at the launch of his party’s campaign for a NO vote in the EU fiscal treaty.

He dismisses claims that a NO vote would see Ireland frozen out of emergency European funding.
