Anti-war protestors are staging another vigil outside Shannon Airport today.
The Shannon Watch group have asked people to gather at the airport entrance to mark 10 years of the US government’s use of Guantanamo for the detention of prisoners and terror suspects.
The group say aircraft that brought prisoners to Guantanamo passed through Shannon, and to date no effort has been made by the Irish Government to investigate or to end what it describes as our complicity in torture.
