Anti water charges protesters vow to continue hunger strike

A number of water protesters who were jailed this week for breaching a court injunction, are continuing their hunger strike today.

The strike comes days after they were moved from Mountjoy prison to Wheatfield prison, which they say is politically motivated.

One of the prisoners, Derek Byrne, made a statement on his Facebook Page saying the hunger strike began on Friday and will continue if they are not moved back to Mountjoy by tomorrow.
