Gardaí in Gort have made an appeal for information as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a fire at a South Galway pub.
The Castle Inn in Castledaly, around 11km from Gort on the on the main Loughrea Road, was destroyed in the blaze which was discovered at around 2:30 a.m. last Wednesday morning.

Following an examination of the scene, it's believed the fire started just before 1 o'clock, but was not noticed for some time.
Gardaí are asking people who can assist them in their inquiries to contact them on 091 636400.
