A man has been arrested in connection with the suspicious death of a 42 year old man in Macroom, Co Cork yesterday.
The man – in his late twenties – was arrested at around 7.45pm last night on suspicion of impeding a garda investigation into the death.
It follows follows reports that a number of people were intimidated in the locality.

A post-mortem is due to be carried out this morning on the dead man, who has been named locally as Don Geasley.
