Four men have been arrested in connection with what's believed to be a spate of break-ins into cars in West and North Clare.
It's understood that cars were targeted outside of peoples' homes, beginning at some point last evening and continuing into the early hours of this morning.
Members of the public in Ballyvaughan and Lissycasey are among those who have already reported incidents to Gardaí, who suspect that Kilkee is among other communities which have been hit.
At least four cars were broken into, but Gardaí expect that number to rise as people wake up and discover what may have happened to their own vehicles.

Already, four men have been arrested in connection with the crimes.
It's believed they were stopped in a car in the Daragh area at around 3 o'clock this morning, and they're now in custody at Kilrush Garda Station.
