Around 200 plants were seized during a planned search of a premises at Kilknockan as part of an on-going operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Limerick area.
Two men, aged 56 and 58, were arrested at the scene and are currently being detained at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
In follow up searches today – a firearm and cocaine worth €6,000 were discovered in the Ballynanty area.
A machine gun, a shotgun and two pistols were also found in a holdall bag, on lands at Old Pallas, County Limerick.
No arrests have been made in connection with the firearms seizures.
