The Arts Council is to invest 280 thousand euro in projects in Co. Clare.
Clare County Council is to receive 63 thousand for it's arts service while the Glor Irish Music Centre has been allocated 10,000 and Cliffs of Moher based publisher Salmon Poetry will receive a further boost.

The Council says it will also make further money available for various projects in the county throughout the year.
Salmon Poetry publishes work by new and and established Irish poets and international writers.
Chairperson Jessie Lendennie is welcoming the funding, but fears for smaller companies.
