Aspirin could cut risk of bowel cancer

 

 

A new study by British medical researchers has found that taking aspirin daily can significantly reduce the chances of people getting bowel cancer, who have a family history of the disease.

In a article published in the Lancet Scientists say taking the pill over the long-term might also reduce the risk of getting other cancers.

Professor John Burn from Newcastle University says aspirin can also cause side-effects, so they want to see if a lower dose is still effective.#
