Personnel with the Clare Fire Service came under fire while attending to a Halloween bonfire in the West of the county last night.
Youths threw stones at fire personnel as they tended to a bonfire in Kilrush, one of just four Halloween-related incidents that local firefighters were called to last night.

Eyewitnesses say that around 4 to 5 youths were throwing the stones, and there was no damage caused and no injuries.
Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer with the Clare Fire Service Dennis O’Connell has condemned the incident which occured on an otherwise quiet Halloween night.
