Family and friends of the late Anthony ‘Axel’ Foley are cycling from Killaloe to Thomond Park and back again to raise funds in memory of the rugby great.
The 42-year-old died suddenly from a heart condition last October which led his loved ones to set up the Foley Family Education Fund.
Killaloe native Axel was both a player and a coach with Munster Rugby and his death shocked the sporting community.
