A Ballybeg woman has spoken of her grief and disappointment after she and her family were denied a plot in Ballyea graveyard for her late husband, despite his close links to the area.
Bríd and Johnny Malone had lived in Ballyea for many years before moving to the outskirts of Ennis, but maintained close links with the area.

He expressed his wish to be laid to rest there before his death in June, but the family say they were told that there was no plot for them.
Johnny has now been laid to rest in Clare Abbey, but Bríd says it has made her grief even worse.
